Advanced Training Platforms

Mission success, from winning the next war to improving health care for our veterans, requires education, training, and preparation. Advanced training platforms are training systems, tools, and technologies that support mission readiness by preparing our forces in a way that is effective, reliable, affordable, and plannable. To meet this demand, Charles River is contributing to a fundamental understanding of the learning and training sciences by developing the tools and technology to deliver effective and timely training, and assess mission readiness across a number of key domains, such as surface sonar, air and ground operations, aircraft maintenance, and battlefield medicine. To support our customers, we draw on our core capabilities in cognitive systems engineering, training science, intelligent tutoring, simulation, and artificial intelligence to systematically document required skills and abilities, develop training simulations, dynamically customize training scenarios to automatically assess these skills, and populate simulations with hostile and friendly forces.
